Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The web edition, the Excel edition and the self-hosted version are all free. No licence, no fee, no card.
What does the web edition run against?
A built-in simulator, so you can try the whole workflow end to end with fictional or non-sensitive data.
Do I need approval or a licence to use the Web Workbench?
No. You get a guest workspace the moment you open the Workbench, with no sign-in. Add your email only if you want a link to come back to it later. Explicitly suspended accounts remain blocked.
Do I need to replace MxLoader?
No. Workbench can export an MxLoader-style workbook without macros, so teams can use it as preparation and evidence tooling while keeping an established loading process where appropriate.
